Wesley Mission School
Education is a road to empowerment! Our mission is to create a safe space that allows students to develop essential life skills, embrace moral values, and support vulnerable groups, including young sexual minorities and girls at risk of female genital mutilation (FGM). We envision a future where every child can thrive in an inclusive and safe school environment. This school manifests our commitment to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which aim to promote quality education and gender equality.
Why This Matters
1.5 million school children in Kenya are not in school due to poverty.
One in two Kenyan girls will never attend school.
One in three Kenyan 6th graders cannot read or write.
Nine in ten children from poor households will fail to complete 8th grade.

Playgroup Ages (2 - 3) focuses on play-based learning aligned with the Kenyan Competency Based Curriculum (CBC), language development, basic math, problem-solving, social skills, creative activities, and physical growth.

Our PP1 program, (Age 4), enhances playgroup skills with play-based learning. We introduce basic religious concepts and customize activities to fit individual needs and learning styles.
At Wesley Mission School, we are committed to transforming children's lives by delivering exceptional educational services. Our goal is to ensure that every student leaves our classrooms equipped with the tools and confidence to dream big and achieve even greater things. To accomplish this, we have introduced four essential programs that support adolescent development, starting from Playgroup through Grade 1.

PP2 (Age: 5) shifts from play-based methods in Playgroup and PP1 to a competency-based learning approach, while still incorporating engaging play. The curriculum builds on prior knowledge, enhancing skills and integrating local culture and environment.

Grade One (Age: 6) emphasizes essential skills like critical thinking creativity, digital literacy, and self-sufficiency. In addition to math and language arts, students will explore science and social studies, with progress tracked through assessments.
