Salkehatchie Count-down! Forty-six days to go! We are over half way to our goal of taking a $2500 donation!

Salkehatchie Summer Service! – We are gearing up for a Salkehatchie, July 14-July 21. Forms were mailed in mid-April to all 2012 Salkehatchie Youth Missionaries. Please make sure those forms are given to Shay ASAP along with a current copy of your insurance card.

Easter Sunrise Breakfast on Sunday, April 8th! We raised over $500 towards Salkehatchie. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

Thanks to the  Children’s Ministry Team who donated $200 towards our Salkehatchie Experience. A big THANK YOU to the kids for picking us to shower with love.

Upcoming Events:

•  Sunday, May 20: Youth Ministry Team Meeting @ 11:55am directly after the service in Shay’s office. Meeting will be brief and then we’ll join the delicious luncheon!
• Sunday, May 20 @ 6:00 pm: Our UMYF End of School Meeting! Both Middle and High School studentswill gather for a feast at Ichibans. Dinner runs approximately, $11/person depending on what each youth orders.
• Sunday, May 27: Memorial Day Weekend; NO UMYF Meeting
• Sunday, June 3: End of School Social
• Sunday, July 8: Salkehatchie Dedication Service
• Sunday, August 5: Salkehatchie Sharing Sunday and BBQ Luncheon

Call for Sunday School Teachers: Please see Shantae if you are willing to touch the lives of our youth in this important ministry. We have new curriculum for the Middle School and High School class. We especially need Middle School teachers.

 Snack Supper Volunteers Needed! Youth will eat almost anything so you’ll always have grateful guests! Please consider providing a snack supper for one of the above Sundays with regular UMYF meetings. See Shantae with questions and to volunteer.
