“Holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain.” Philippians 2:16.

How About You?
Do you know that you're a runner in life's race? The "heroes of the faith" referred to in Hebrews 11, and many other faithful Christians throughout the ages have run ahead of you. Now, in a sense, a "baton" - the Word of God-has been passed on to the Christians still here on earth. If you know Jesus, that includes you. What kind of race are you running? Are you doing the things God teaches in His Word? Are you being a good example for younger kids? Be a good "runner" in life's race. WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY

Way to GO! GO! CHILDREN’S CHOIR!!! Great job on Go! Go! Jonah. We are so proud of your performance. Thanks so much to Patty Higgins, Mary Kate and Adam for training our children for such a delightful performance!!

Next Wednesday, May 14th, will be the last Wonderful Wednesday of the school year, so we will celebrate with ice cream sundaes, and if the weather cooperates, we’ll play team games outside; if it is rainy or cold, we will watch a movie together.  I hope everyone who has been a part of Wonderful Wednesday this year will plan to come. If you haven’t come lately but would like to participate, please let me know by Tuesday, May 13th!

SUMMER SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS

Summer is right around the corner, and we need summer Sunday school teachers to

volunteer to give our regular teachers a break. Please let Kelly know if you are willing to help teach for just one week this summer.  We will be studying the Miracles of Jesus! Ten volunteers would cover the summer!! To date, Vicky Williams is the only volunteer signed up. Please join Vicky by picking one week of your summer to lead the 1st—5th graders.

KID’S NITE OUT  

We will be having Kid’s Nite Out this week! The sign-up sheet was not in the commons area, so I am extending the sign-up period. If you would like your child to participate, please let Kelly know by noon on Saturday, May 10th, by signing up at our

Communications Center or call 691-0507.
